Brand Design

My design for this hotel brand identity involved a delicate balance between vintage charm and modern luxury. At first, I grappled with defining the precise aesthetic, aiming for a feel that resonated with both historical elegance and contemporary sophistication. The hotel's high-end amenities, including a spa, pool, gym, outdoor activities, and trails coupled with its breathtaking Hudson River views, served as crucial inspirations.

I began with extensive research, exploring local hotels and inns to understand the region's design language. This also involved sketching and mind-mapping, allowing me to visually connect my ideas and establish a conceptual foundation. The Hudson River's "blues" became a central color palette element, reflecting the serene and luxurious atmosphere.

After multiple sketches, I brought my design ideas into Adobe Illustrator, I refined the logo and brand identity, ensuring they captured the desired vintage-modern fusion. The process was challenging, requiring careful consideration of typography, color, and form to achieve a cohesive and memorable brand. Ultimately, the design emerged from a blend of research, inspiration, and meticulous refinement.
